As previously discussed, it does not seem to make sense to provide a blogging facility within PTW for the following reasons:
1. PTW is about managing "music blogs", so how would we ensure content is relevant, and why should we bother trying to control users blogs? We would have to implement controls to ensure the quality of internally hosted blogs really do make sense in PTW. This seems more trouble than is worth, and why would users consider using a limited system?
2. It seems to make more sense to provide a user with a means to include their externally hosted blog content into PTW. It would be in the form of a user-initiated submission, which triggers inclusion into the back-channel indexer that eventually surfaces that content (and track references) to other users.
3. Excluding this functionality can simplify the system to concentrate on crawling and managing external music blogs and their associated tracks -- then providing the means for consumption, playlisting, and socializing content.

Agreed on all. On #2: sort of like how users submit links to digg/reddit (or maybe even buzz model)
ps: hope our competitors aren't reading this :-/
